Having an exhibition/retrospective of my paintings at Sterling, Colorado for the month of November....looking forward to my visit to Northeastern Junior College and UW alumn and gallery director, Will Ross!
Contemporary Art Survey Exhibition, Lincoln Center, Ft. Collins, CO.
I received the Best in Show award in the Contemporary Art Survey exhibition at the Lincoln Center, Ft. Collins, Colorado in June. Juror was Kim Dickey, Professor of Ceramics, CU Boulder.
I recently had close to 40 paintings on exhibition at the John Day Gallery, University of South Dakota. During the closing reception, musical compositions based on my paintings were performed by USD music faculty. The compositions were selected from an international pool of artists. What a treat! The exhibition ran through the month of January.
I have five 'Shrine" paintings in the annual "Fantastiske Figurationer" exhibition at Galerie Knud Grothe, Copenhagen, Denmark. The exhibition runs through the month of February.
Another exhibition is coming up Oct. 7th, in Vancouver Washington. Titled, "Weird Sisters", and featuring three artists in three galleries, the work should be cohesive and very provocative. I have 20 paintings in the exhibition and am looking forward to attending the opening on the 7th. The show will run from Oct. 7th through the 31st.
News!!! Upcoming and current exhibitions
I have a solo exhibition opening in Lisbon, Portugal. Galeria Colorida is situated in the cellar of the Castle of St. George, an amazing location. The castle is steeped in history stretching back to Neolithic, Celtic, Moorish, and Medieval history. The exhibition, titled, "A Restless Traveler", opens this weekend (Sept. 24th), and runs for two weeks.
